This is a digital ultra-widefield (200° view of the retina in one image) scanning laser ophthalmoscope that captures images through 2mm pupils. The image is captured in less than one second and has multiple imaging modalities available, which replaces the need for dilation of the patient’s pupils for routine exams.

The CIRRUS HD-OCT 500 assists optometrists in the early diagnosis and detection of retinal conditions by studying high-resolution cross-sectional images of the retina. The OCT is a non-invasive diagnostic technique that renders an in vivo cross-sectional view or map of the retina that is accurate to within at least 10-15 microns. It provides substantial information about the retinal structure and the nerve fiber layer surrounding the optic nerve.
AdaptDx is 90% sensitive and 90% specific in identify in the earliest onset of AMD (Macular Degeneration). This makes AdaptDx more accurate than current testing for glaucoma (as the accuracy of the visual field is only 83%).
Being able to detect AMD with such accuracy will greatly improve your patients’ outcomes. It allows you to detect AMD at the earliest stage, at least three years before drusen are visible when action can be taken to slow disease progression and prevent vision loss.

The CV-5000 Automated Refractor sets new quality standards with its fast lens rotation system and its many testing functions provide comfort for the patient, as well as the examiner. It offers complete connectivity which allows data to be sent automatically to every CV system throughout the office and populated automatically into the patient’s electronic medical record, making paperless refraction a reality.
The Rabin Cone Contrast Test (CCT) is a revolutionary new color vision test. With routine Cone Contrast Testing, early detection may prevent permanent damage normally associated with macular degeneration (AMD), glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy. Innova’s CCT is approved by the Surgeon General as the Gold Standard for color vision testing for the US Air Force. Unlike other color vision tests, the Rabin Cone Contrast Test measures the severity of cone function loss, and tracks cone function over time, aiding in the detection of disease as well as monitoring disease progression and efficacy of treatment.
The automated perimetry test uses a computer program to test an individual’s field of vision. It measures areas or patterns of vision loss that may be the result of many different diseases like glaucoma, macular degeneration, multiple sclerosis, stroke, brain tumor, high blood pressure, etc.
The Icare tonometer is an eye pressure measuring device used in glaucoma screening and it is based on a new measuring principle, in which a very light probe is used to make momentary contact with the front of the eye. The measurement is barely noticed by the patient and does not require anesthesia. The device not only makes IOP measuring a more pleasant experience on all patients, but it is also an important break-through for succeeding with non-compliant patients (i.e. children and dementia patients)
